At the time of entry, you will have the option of purchasing a number of additional items including a health assessment by BellSant, an ASICS Performance Shirt Upgrade, a finisher's medal, race packet delivery, a training program, a FinisherPix photo package and a carbon offset. In addition, please consider making a generous donation to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, our official charity.

Cut-off Time Policy for 10 Mile:

For 10 Mile: I understand that if I finish with a net time greater than 2 hours and 20 minutes that I will not be listed as a race finisher and I will not receive my finisher's medal and enhanced medal strip (if ordered). Furthermore, I understand if I do not maintain a sub 14:00-minute per mile pace that I will be asked and must comply to board the sweep bus and be returned to the Washington Monument Grounds. I further acknowledge that leaving the course does not make me eligible for any refund of my entry fee. Note: Runners who feel they cannot maintain a 14-minute per mile pace (sub 2 hours and 20 minutes for 10 miles) should not enter the 10 Mile but should consider participating in the 5K on Saturday (time limit of 65 minutes or 21 minutes per mile pace).

Cheating/Non-Registration Policy:

I understand that...
If race officials become aware that a runner participated in the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile or the 5K wearing a bib that is not registered to that runner, both the runner to whom the bib is registered and the runner wearing the bib will be banned from the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile or the 5K for the following two years.

If race officials determine that a runner is selling or has sold their bib to another runner (without going through the official transfer process), both the seller and buyer will be banned from the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile or 5K for the following three years.

If race officials determine that a runner has not completed the full official 10 mile or 5K course and has in fact cut or not run a certain portion, that runner will be banned from the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile or the 5K for the following four years.

Race Day Packet Pick-up Policy:

I understand that there will be NO race day packet pick-up on Sunday for the 10 Mile.

I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity and that I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decisions of race officials relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I understand I must follow the directions of police or course marshals, including leaving the road if I fall behind the 14-minute per mile pace required of 10-mile runners. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to injuries from: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, high winds, lightning, and extreme cold, snow and ice, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I further acknowledge that the organizers reserve the right to refuse or revoke my entry into the event for any reason. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Cherry Blossom, Inc., event volunteers, the City of Washington, D.C., United States Track & Field (USATF), the Potomac Valley Association of USATF, the Road Runners Club of America, the National Cherry Blossom Festival, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I am aware that the foregoing organizations assume no liability in the event of cancellation or postponement of this event for any reason and that the entry fees are not refundable. Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, video graphic or electronic record of this event for legitimate purposes. I agree that I will use only the procedures authorized by the race organizing committee for the transfer of my bib number and I agree that, when utilizing the authorized transfer process, I will not charge a premium over the event's entry fee. 
The registrant acknowledges that MarathonGuide.com/Web Marketing Associates has no responsibility for the operation of the Credit Union Cherry Blossom and associated events and is only acting as an agent to register applicants who wish to participate in the Credit Union Cherry Blossom and associated events.  Accordingly, the registrant agrees to hold MarathonGuide.com/Web Marketing Associates and its agents harmless from any liability or injury resulting from the Credit Union Cherry Blossom and associated events.  Furthermore, the registrant agrees that it shall have no claim against MarathonGuide.com/Web Marketing Associates for any injury that may occur during the Credit Union Cherry Blossom and associated events. The individual event operators and sponsors have provided information included in this site and MarathonGuide.com/Web Marketing Associates does not verify the accuracy or completeness thereof. All confirmed orders are final once payment is submitted. MarathonGuide.com/Web Marketing Associates does not issue refunds.
